When Sopra Steria acquired EGGS in the Autumn of 2021, Sopra Steria already had its own design and innovation department, Creative, with close to 100 creative specialists. EGGS and Creative have existed side by side for two years, and the time has now come to become one. The result is EGGS, part of Sopra Steria.

EGGS keeps its well-known name and brand and will spearhead Sopra Steria’s design and innovation offering. EGGS ‘and Sopra Steria’s clients will now get a stronger end-to-end service offering through the integration.

Ellen Lidgren now leads EGGS together with Anders Kunz, former leader of Sopra Steria Creative. She says that the integration is good news for everyone involved.

Now we can provide everything from business strategies for growth and sustainable development, inclusive and holistic brand and service experiences, and state-of-the-art product development to digitalisation, tech, and IT infrastructure.«

Anders Kunz emphasises that design and innovation, combined with Sopra Steria’s leading competence in digitalisation and sustainability, has the potential to make EGGS grow considerably over the coming years.

Good news for clients

Now, the exciting journey of joining the two creative environments and over 180 professionals begins. The kick-off came when we met at this year’s EGGSpedition (EGGS yearly trip where all employees gather from different offices). We all met at Kragerø in Norway over a few days, enjoying workshops, conversations, and even our very own festival – EGGChella (inspired by Coachella, of course) together.

We can see that with our shared values, wanting to create something meaningful and valuable for the future and society, our joint forces can really become something unique. And, it also became evident that we enjoy spending time at a festival together!» comments Anders Kunz, with a smile on his face.

Shared values as a basis

From October 1st, we organisationally become a department within Sopra Steria Scandinavia. As a consequence, all employees and client contracts are transferred to Sopra Steria.

The team of over 180 creatives are already working together, both physically and digitally, across Norway. Over the coming months, EGGS will expand its existing office spaces to cater to a doubled-up work force. In practice, this means that the creatives in Sopra Steria and EGGS move in together to complete the integration in the cities that currently have separate locations: Oslo and Stavanger. On all other locations across Norway, the existing creative teams will operate under the EGGS brand.
